Chris has lived in Beechwood for 10 years with his wife, Alicia, and four sons. He is a former Rochester City School District teacher and also served as Director of Outreach for Grace Church PCA for ten years, during which he founded 441 Ministries. Chris served as the Executive Director of 441 Ministries for four years (2012-2016). In 2016 he started a new work, New City Fellowship Beechwood, a local congregation in the Beechwood neighborhood. Chris stays involved at 441 by "hovering" around the place and bugging Paul Whitehouse with general stuff while drinking Paul's superb coffee.
Retired June 2015 from the Medical Oncology Department at Highland Hospital. Paul became familiar with 441 Ministries while attending Grace Road Church when Chris Holdridge addressed the Porterbrook Learning monthly siminar hosted by the Evangelical Church of Fairport. From that time Paul and his wife Lorraine have become increasingly involved with the ministry in Beechwood and the needs of inner city neighborhoods. In addition ot completing the two year Porterbrook Program, Paul also completed the Calvary Chapel of the Fingerlakes Shepherds School. With the launch of New City Fellowship Beechwood in 2016 he will have participated in three church plants. Erica Schiller has her bachelors in Psychology and worked at a Children's home in the residential and counseling programs upon graduation. She currently works for New City Fellowship Beechwood and 441 Ministries. As the Children’s Ministres coordinator at 441 Ministres she oversees the Saturday Kids Club program and the Summer Meals program. She prays, longs and strives to see the kids in Beechwood grow in their understanding and love for Jesus Christ. She is thankful that God uses broken people to share His perfect truth. Mary Cooper is the Teen Ministries Coordinator at 441 Ministries. In life she has previously has worn many hats including: camp counselor/division director for high school aged girls, afterschool program counselor, nanny, barista, and preschool teacher. She sees herself as a wandering sheep who is in the safe and guiding arms of the Good Shepherd. In 2013, she started as a volunteer in the kids club at 441 and found the heart of the ministry to be in line with her heart and calling to inner city ministry. She worked with the board and director to establish a teen program as an internship as part of her program Northeastern Seminary, where she obtained an MA in Transformational Leadership. She and her husband Tim moved to Beechwood in 2015 after living in another urban neighborhood for three years.
