The core of 441 Ministries Beechwood is the gospel of Jesus Christ, and we endeavor to work that out structurally by implementing the ministry philosophy of Dr. John M. Perkins of Christian Community Development. This includes the 3Rs of Relocation, Reconciliation, and Redistribution. By relocation we mean being called to actually move into the neighborhood and live among the people. Reconciliation can happen on both a vertically as we share the gospel of Jesus Christ with our neighbors and the Holy Spirit grants the gift of faith, and horizontally as we become mediators between those of different racial, socio-economic, and educational statuses. Redistribution is manifest by investing in the neighborhood, collaborating with our community on economic development strategies, and sharing resources.
441 Ministries Beechwood is a Christian non-profit organization, which partners with local churches and other like-minded organizations to bring hope, healing, and holistic development through the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Beechwood neighborhood of Rochester, NY.
