Dear Reader,

When we follow Jesus, we are known and loved. God knows us, loves us, and gives us purpose!

We see many people around us searching for notoriety (wanting to be known, maybe even famous) and entertainment. But being famous or being entertained will never fully satisfy us. We’re made to fill these desires through God and through the roles He gives us.

This devotional will cover six roles that we all experience: Image Bearer, Worker, Neighbor, Worshiper, Restorer, and Witness. We each fill all of these roles with or without Christ. For example, we all worship something, even if we don’t realize it. We’re all made in God’s image, whether we follow Him or not. But we only get to experience these roles fully when we follow Jesus.

We often feel sad or broken in this world. Life gets hard. But Jesus wants to make us whole. He teaches us how to follow Him, and He helps us want to do what’s right: “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.” Philippians 2:13

This book has five pages about each role. There are Bible verses written out for each day. If you’d like to expand on your devotional time with God, we recommend using a journal to write out your thoughts and prayers.
